Airport

Access:

Thessaloniki Airport “Macedonia” is at a 17.5 km / 10.9 distance from Imperial Hotels, two of the most famous hotels in Thessaloniki, that is located in the city center.

By car: 25-40 minutes distance (depending on the traffic).

By taxi: Indicative prices are around 25-30 euros.

Road connection by public transport: Thessaloniki Airport is connected to the Thessaloniki Railway Station and the Intercity Bus Station “Macedonia” with the OASTH bus line 78 (during the day) and 78N (at night). The ticket cost is 2 euros (regular ticket) and 1 euro (reduced price). Bus 78 runs every half hour.

For those who choose the O.AS.TH. bus in order to arrive from the airport to Imperial Hotels, they can use the 78 bus. The terminal station of this bus is the Intercity bus station of KTEL. The nearest stop to Imperial Hotels is on Tsimiski Street, within a 5-minute walk distance.

Description: Thessaloniki’s Bus Station (Ktel) “Macedonia” is located west and at a distance of five (5) kilometers from Thessaloniki’s center. It is easily accessible through the center, but also through the new western junction of the city, where it is directly connected to the ring road of Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki’s Bus Station locations helps in the speed of the itineraries to each point of departure and arrival.

Railway Station

Thessaloniki’s Railway Station (OSE) is at a 1 km distance from Imperial Palace Hotel, one of the most famous hotels in Thessaloniki, that is located in the city center.

Description: The New Railway Station of Thessaloniki is the main passenger station of the city for all passenger trains, while most of the bus lines of OASTH have their starting point. The entrances to the station are from Monastiriou and Margaropoulou Street. It has seven docks and there are shops inside the station. It was inaugurated in 1961, although construction work began in 1937. During World War II and throughout the Occupation, all work was stopped and resumed in 1951.
